REMOTE TECH LTD was founded with a vision to innovate in the realm of water hygiene monitoring, specifically tackling the inefficiencies in legionella bacteria prevention in commercial and government buildings in the UK. This vision was borne out of Florin's identification of the outdated and laborious manual methods of water temperature monitoring, which were crucial for legionella prevention.

The traditional methods entailed physical visits to sites, a practice Florin found to be inefficient, costly, and environmentally detrimental. This led to the conceptualization of a remote temperature measuring and logging system, marking the onset of Remote Tech's journey.

The initial products, the S1 sensor and G1 gateway, transitioned into more advanced versions like the M1 module and G2 gateway, reflecting a continuous evolution in hardware design, now brought in-house for better flexibility and quicker design iterations.

Remote Tech has gradually built a robust hardware and software ecosystem, offering a Software and Hardware as a Service model, primarily through channel sales to water treatment or facilities management companies. This model facilitates quicker and cost-effective scaling, allowing partners to provide enhanced services to their clients.

With a growing team and strategic relationships with global electronics manufacturers, Remote Tech is not only enhancing its current offerings but working on a pipeline of products aimed at remote management and monitoring of large commercial buildings. The ultimate goal extends beyond the UK, with plans to penetrate international markets, aiming to become a market leader in integrated multipoint monitoring and two-way communication solutions for commercial building management by Q4 2025.
